There is nothing better than a sexy blonde wrestling jobber! Oh sure, the beautiful Krissy Vaine has had a great deal of success during her career in wrestling. She's even appeared in the WWE. But for my money, I like her best when she's working as a jobber, selling a beat-down for some heel, or thug. Many will remember her from her days partnered with Amber O'Neal in Team Blondage. No offense to Amber, but I always thought that Krissy was the classier and sold a move more realistically of the two. So, here's my tribute to Krissy Vaine. Back in the good old days, college wrestling saw things such as Alumni Dual Meets in front of packed houses of rabid wrestling fans. In 1976, Ames Iowa's famed Hilton Coliseum (just 5 years old at the time) home of the Iowa State Cyclones saw an interesting match up of two Cyclone wrestling legends when Big 8 Conference wrestlings first 4 time Conference Champ and 2 time NCAA All American locked horns with young upstart sophomore by the name of Kelly Ward. Ward contended with the unorthodox style of Galea to come out on top in what some call his first 'signature win'. Check out legendary Hall of Fame Coach Harold Nichols giving the young Ward instructions in a match where you will see Ward donning white shoes and high with socks popular back in 1976. Ward went on to don his signature black four stripe Onitsuka Tigers in later years. Fan favorite from his electrifying style Pete Galea gets last minute encouragement mat side prior to the bout from none other than ISU Grad Assistant Coach at the time... Dan Gable. Other Interesting Notes: Galea had just come off a dominating win over Wisconsin's Lee Kemp a few day's prior to this match at the Northern Open. PLEASE READ FIRST BEFORE YOU WATCH THE VID! Er.. I know I have NEVER posted a wrestling vid, although I'm a huge fan. The thing is I haven't done a wrestling vid with Vegas before. I've done tons with movie maker, just not with Vegas. So this was my first attempt at it. I know this is the first time I'll be uploading a wrestling vid. We all know Wrestling's scripted, so please don't bash it or say "it's fake!" because we all already know. :) Okay. This is a tribute to my favorite wrestler, WWE's Kane! I chose some of my favorite stories from his career so far that I LOVED. All of these are in no particular order. First, his debut of course, when he first met his brother the Undertaker and had a fued with him for a looong time until he extended his hand in an attempt to fix the relationship and they actually formed a bond and a tag-team until Kane betrayed him in a payback of when Taker got him burned. You see, the Kane character, as a child, was in a fire and had his face horribly scarred, so badly that he had skin grafts and couldn't speak for years, only being able to through body language and a voice box. He had it removed some time later. But throughout his whole career, he's had to wear a mask to cover his burned and scarred face. I then went into his "half-mask" days after he returned from an elbow (I think) injury, where he won championships and matches like blowing out water.
