Tillman the skateboarding bulldog from the iphone commercial. All clips are from January 2007. Tillman was a little over a year old at the time. A little history of this first video. I Filmed the video using a just purchased Panasonic Lumix TZ1. I was bicycling through Venice Beach California when I came upon the skateboarding dog. Originally the first video had the soundtrack "Giving In" by linkin Park. Once the video appeared in iphone commercials I removed the video from youtube because of the attention it was getting and I had no rights to use the song. As time approached for Apple's release of the iphone with youtube, youtube contacted me and requested I reinstate the video without the soundtrack. Youtube wanted users to be able to view the skateboarding dog in the store and after purchasing their iphone. Unfortunately youtube gave me only a few hours to re-edited video before the iphone release. The original background sound on most of the clips was ruined by hysterical laughter from a woman watching Tillman so I cut and pasted sound in from other parts of the video to cover the laughter. That's why some claim they hear the word eskimo over and over-lol. When the original video with the Linkin Park soundtrack was selected it had around 15000 views.

This is still my favorite video part of all time. Tommy G's part in Future Primitive was the first real street skating video segment, and the first to spotlight the streets of SF as the natural skatepark that they were and are. Lee created 'Leeside', a makeshift skatepark in a tunnel under the Hastings and Cassiar connector in Vancouver. Shortly after his death, hundreds of Vancouver skateboarders and friends attended Leeside, a memorial at a skatepark that Matasi helped build. Leeside is one of Vancouver's most unique and important skate spots. It's a very difficult place to skate due to the tight, hand-sculpted transitions, which is why it's so cool to see the locals rule it.

New charges against Baltimore City cop';2nd Incident Caught on Tape 2/15/08 New video of Baltimore police officer Salvatore Rivieri in action at the Inner Harbor. This time he confronts Billy Friebele, an artist from Washington DC, who was videotaping at the Harbor last summer. Friebele said he was taping the reactions of passersby to a box he was moving with a remote controlled car. Officer Rivieri is seen on tape kicking the box off of the car and then kicking the car. The officer then orders Friebele to leave the area. Rivieri is the same officer caught on a video wrestling a 14 year old skate boarder to the ground. A spokesperson for the Baltimore Police Department declined to comment on this latest videotape. Officer Rivieri is suspended without pay pending the outcome of an internal investigation of the incident with the skate boarder.

I have known Chad for a very long time. I remember him being this little kid from Columbus Ohio that was getting flowed by H-Street. I have always known what an amazing skateboarder he is. Definitely one of those people you watch and just know "he's got it". Over his years as a professional Chad has given skateboarding some amazing moments. Beyond giving us all some gnarly skating he has given us all a really good guy that can back all of it up. I am very proud to have Chad be part of this team since day one. Chad still kills it to this day but now has bigger and better things in his cross hairs. His retirement from professional skateboarding doesn't mean the end of his shredding, only the beginning of a new professional journey all the while still ripping harder then some pros out there. Even though Chad will not have his name on a board anymore, I wouldn't count him out. As long as he has the time and there is an open seat in the 1031 van, you just may see Chad show up at your local park and kill it!!
