It also helps if you want to convert the screen from glossy to matte. Why: I just recently bought a water damaged Early 2009 macbook from ebay for $500. Once I cleaned the logic board and everything else in the case I booted it up and heard the power up noise. The laptop works, but the Inverter or LEDs were damaged by the incident. I did not want to go to Techrestore or Missionrepair, They cost way too much ($300-$400). I order a new LG Phillips screen from ebay for $150. The part should come in soon.
