Merrie Melodies: Bugs Bunny: Hare-um Scare-um (1939)

Hare-um Scare-um is a 1939 Merrie Melodies cartoon directed by Ben Hardaway and Cal Dalton, and first released on August 12, 1939 by Warner Bros. It marks the third appearance of the Bugs Bunny prototype and the first time he, thanks to a redesign by Charlie Thorson, appears as a grey rabbit instead of a white one. The title is a homonym with an old nonsense expression ("harum-scarum", meaning reckless or irresponsible) that has nothing to do with rabbits as such. Apart from this the rabbit's voice and laugh were identical from those of Woody Woodpecker in his very first appeareance. (the Andy Panda cartoon Knock Knock, released the following year)

I actually sat a few rows behind her at Merrie Monarch in 06. But she was sitting with Kunewa Mook. Soo0o0o0 i didnt want to disturb them. But hopefully one day. "Mele Aloha No Kaulana-i-ka-poki'i E Keaomelemele" tells the story of Keaomelemele, who passes on her knowledge of hula and chant to her beloved younger sister Kaulana-i-ka-poki'i. The two sisters then perform to the great interest and delight of others.
