Some have asked about the "low notes" that come out when I hit those two keys up top - those are guitar effects built in the patch and for whatever reason, Yamaha put those effects on the high keys. I made the background beat using FL Studio. I start the beat by hitting the space-bar on my computer keyboard before I play on the synth. PS. I've read some reviews of this vid as if I'm trying to be a "keytar" player (apparently not a desirable thing, but how can you not like Edgar Winter's "Frankenstein") and that I should just play a real guitar. LOL @ some of those same people who probably play guitar hero (nothing against it but hopefully you see my point)! The irony! The point is, folks, if you find a fun/inspiring sound to jam with, by all means, you should JAM WITH IT! I don't care if you find a $3.00 plastic trumpet. Don't worry about the technicalities and what people say. In the long run it's about the fun that YOU have making music. Thanks for watching!!!

Guitar Oscillations Captured with iPhone 4
I just happened upon this trick when testing what it was like filming from inside my guitar. *Note this effect is due to the rolling shutter, which is non-representative of how strings actually vibrate. Tips: • You must have the strings brightly backlit to get the camera to capture at such a high frame rate (pure conjecture). You can see how the effect fades when the buildings come into view. • Use a pencil *This was used with the front facing camera, try the back camera, it may capture better! Powered by www.eurovision.tv Tom Dice will represent Belgium with the song Me And My Guitar at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo (Norway), taking place on the 25th, 27th and 29th of May. Ever since he can remember, the twenty-year-old Tom has been working on his music. He started his music career at music school but soon realised he longed for something else. He taught himself how to play the guitar and wrote his very first song when he was twelve years old. At age fifteen Tom started his own band, The Dice. That name now lives on as Toms stage name. Tom has always had a special relationship with his fans. Already well-known in his home region, one of his local fans entered him for the auditions of the Belgian edition of talent show X Factor in 2008. Not only did Tom Dice make it to the show, thanks to his magnificent voice and his fanss never-ending support, he survived all eleven live TV shows and finished second. By June of the same year Tom released his first single, an acoustic version of Leona Lewiss Bleeding Love. The single was an instant success in the Belgian charts.

iPad Garageband - Guitar Jam Improvisation
ATTENTION: I want to make something clear: I DO NOT support buying the iPad or the Garageband. The truth is I don't think that the iPad is such a great device or worth the money. There are much better solutions with less money. Personally I bought and sold almost immediately (within days) more than 4 iPads before they lose value just to do garageband videos or test a new IOS. If I ever actually need to buy a tablet to keep it would definitely be an android one that cost less and do more. I felt the need to say that because I received A LOT comments about people buying iPads or Garageband application because they watch this video. I did this for fun and I am not supporting Apple or its products. This is me creating a jam track with apple's Garageband app for the ipad and then shredding a guitar solo over it! I am sorry about the bad video quality, but i could not find a way to record ipad's screen in a fast framerate. Anyway i believe you will get the idea. Hope you enjoy!

Want You Gone Portal 2 Guitar Cover
MP3: www.mediafire.com Yay I got a new bass guitar! I literally got it days before I recorded this and was so happy to not have to go up the octave on certain parts for once! Anyways, I recently finished both the single player and co-op stories of Portal 2 and it really blew me away. Such an amazing game, definitely one of those few better-than-the-original games. Loved the development for GLaDoS and the character of Wheatley, and the end song was as amazing as the last one so I had to cover it. I guess you guys weren't kidding how great it was and how badly I needed to cover it. :) Recording this one was an absolute breeze, which gave me more time to incorporate more bends and colors to the overall product. No crazy changes or anything, just metal all the way through. I also treated the lead guitars as if they were vocals when I brought them to the mixing stage, tried some cool reverb stuff and double tracking too. By the way, if you were going to try to put the words to this, don't. I changed the tempo and extended a lot of sections because the tempo was way too slow for this style of music. I usually stick with original everything, but this time I let it slide for the sake of the arrangement. A podcast called C-Stick on iTunes featured my Still Alive cover and said some really nice things about me, be sure to check out their YouTube (www.youtube.com and subscribe and tell them I sent you, and also remind them to ask permission before they use someone else's work <b>...</b>
