Okay so here is me doing heel toe downshifting. The camera angle makes it look like my foot barely touches the gas, but if you listen in close you can definitely hear it. As it says in the end, I learned this technique not too long ago and hope that it helps people out there who are in the same position that I was in a few months ago. I am not a professional, but one day hope to be, lol. Thanks to Rob for helping out.

Yesterday I got the AMAZING opportunity to drive this sick Lamborghini Gallardo that a friend of the family owns. I got to drive it all around some amazing roads and it was the best thing I have ever done. It was such an amazing car and I wish I could have those 30 minutes of my life to do over and over again. This is my attempt at a tutorial for people who want to see how a heel and toe downshift is done. Please exercise caution! Practice until you feel comfortable with traffic around. Doing this wrong could cause damage to your drive train and/or an accident. I will not be held responsible for your attempts. For those of you who already know this technique then skip the vid:) I'm not showing you anything new! The purpose of a heel and toe downshift is to match the revs to your engine when when braking for a corner or stopping. This way your car is in the correct power band and the damage to your drivetrain is kept at a minimum. Think about it you're slamming two objects that are rotating at different speeds together so if you don't rev match it's really harsh on your car. By rev matching this way you can make sure your car's revs are in the correct powerband for your car to power out of corners and reduce bogging. Sorry I didn't talk much during the live demonstration but it was too loud in the car. Again if you are not familiar with this and it is your first time, please practice in an empty parking lot. Make sure your motions and timing are fluid to reduce the damage to your drive train. Thank you everyone for watching!

I saw this awesome white Gallardo spyder on Brompton Road in London, first it accelerated hard in 2nd and 3rd gear (which i missed because the camera take years to load up) then a big downshift into 2nd. An LP560-4 Spyder then comes along the opposite way which was pretty cool. The white one then drives along the other road and sets a car alrm off because of the non-standard sound and effect that the decatted exhaust has :)

Well, you know the answer of course, but the ride wasnt that short. About 15 minutes of pure power. The LP560-4 is one masterpiece of artwork by the worlds best manufacturer, Lamborghini.
