Background: DiC Entertainment (formerly DiC Audiovisuel, DiC Enterprises, DiC Animation City, and DiC Productions) was founded by Jean Chalopin in Paris, France in 1971. In 1982, the American arm debuted and Andy Heyward, Jean Chalopin, and Bruno Bianchi were in charge of the company. Heyward bought the company in 1986 when Chalopin and Bianchi left. It was bought by Capital Cities/ABC (now ABC, Inc.) in 1993 and The Walt Disney Company in 1995, until Andy Heyward reacquired the company from Disney in 2000 by becoming independent with an investment by Bain Capital. On July 23, 2008, DiC was acquired by Cookie Jar Entertainment, Inc. and became a wholly-owned subsidiary. Months later, Cookie Jar decided to take over and DiC Entertainment was folded into Cookie Jar. Every clip of Queen Beryl (except Supreme Beryl) is from many different episodes! This video has some of the music that was used in the DiC dubbed version of Sailor Moon. I much prefer the DiC music. My personal thought is that he Japanese version is cheesy, old fashioned, boring and cringe worthy in some parts. I dislike how in the Japanese version there are just parts with no background music at all. I do, however, like how in the DIC version there is transformation music, battle music, creepy music to suit different villians, magical music and happy music for the scenes with the girls just having fun. Hey everyone! Rachel here! I decided to create a series where I take each episode of Sailor Moon, both the English and Japanese versions, and put them side by side to show everyone just how BAD dic butchered the poor anime. Aside from minor changes like the following- - putting higher contast on the animation itself - using extremely bad voice actors that dont match the personality of their character - changing dialog to include out of date, cheesey lined such as "You're dusted, buster!" - changing characters names (Usagi in the Toei version became Serena in the Dic) Dic made some major changes to the show such as- - taking our and Haruka/ Amara and Michiru/ Michelle's , also known as Sailors Uranus and Neptune, relationship - cutting out scenes that aren't offencive at all - changing the animation itself - cutting out most impact clips (such as a slap or a kick) - changing dialog to a topic that is completly unrelated to the original topic Most of the changes Dic made to Sailor Moon were not needed, although few, I repeate, a VERY few of them were appreciated. Basicly There have been a couple people who in the past tried to do a Sailor Moon S fandub DiC/Negavision style and didn't end up doing mroe than one ep. I know alot of times in fandubing that its difficult to keep an active cast or maybe not enough time to mix. Basicly I'm looking for an enthusiastic individual who may have thought about doing a dub like this but can't do it all by themselves. Basicly I'm showing this as a preview to show that I'd be more than happy to do most if not all mixing for this kind of fandub. I personaly like all the english versions and original version of Sailor Moon. So I like both the japanese and american version music, and that includes I do love the CWI version as well, but I'd really like to see S with more of the american music that we all grew up with. I know this might sound hippicriticle from me cause I know both fandubs of sailor moon I put together were stricktly an uncut based straight off of Japanese version (i,e using japanese names and music and such) And I'm also doing a Sailor Moon R final battle fandub that will be comeing out in hopefuly a couple weeks <b>...</b>

Which one do you prefer? I personally like them both, there both very different and bring a different side to Usagi, however usually i would say Terri had the upper hand in my heart haha xD So what do you think?
