PALM COAST, Fla. - The Florida Highway Patrol has charged a 76-year-old woman who drove her car through a busy Publix grocery store, injuring ten people, including a baby in a stroller. Officers charged Thelma Wagenhoffer of Palm Coast with careless driving after she slammed her 2004 Toyota Camry through the front door of the Publix at 4950 Belle Terre Pkwy. on Saturday. Investigators said they found no apparent problems with the car's brakes. Witnesses said the car appeared to be going about 50 miles per hour. Now, she'll have to explain to a judge what went wrong and has a mandatory court appearance set due to the severity of the injuries. Surveillance Video: Car crashes into... This clip, however, represents the very first time the crash has been available in HQ. I'll eventually post more details about the crash here. In short, the pilot ran out of gas in one tank yet didn't switch over to the other tank which was full. Checklist fail. As you can see at the end the bird was not hurt. The Cormorant has been described as "large, stupid, clumsy and almost flightless". It certainly was a large species, and doubtlessly must have been clumsy on land. This combination made the bird an easy victim for sealers and other hunters who killed the cormorant for its meat. Whether the species was flightless, is open to debate. There is no anatomical evidence that it was.

At the beginning of the video the sun rises behind the camera to light up the waves and shore birds. At 23:45 a body surfer enjoys the waves. At 1:01:16 I moved the camera just a bit to see some more body surfers who later use boogie boards. Body boarding is a surface water sport in which the surfer rides a bodyboard on the crest and face of a wave which is carrying the surfer towards the shore. Bodyboarding is also referred to as boogieboarding. The average bodyboard consists of a short, rectangular piece of hydrodynamic foam. Bodyboarders typically use swim fins for additional propulsion and control while riding a wave. High Tide was at 9:20am (about half way through the video). Filmed from 8am to 11am Marine Street Beach in La Jolla, Southern California (next to Mit Romneys house) on December 26, 2011 using a Canon HV30 and Zoom microphone. Marine Street Beach near the community of La Jolla, California is legendary to body surfers and body boarders because of its thunderous waves, which crash right at shoreline. However, this beach may not be ideal for families, as the rough surf is not well suited to children. The rough waves at this beach have been known to cause serious injury to swimmers and body boarders. Some play this video to relax or for insomnia to help them sleep.

While we were waiting at the intersection of Rodeo Drive and Sunset Blvd I saw this very rare 40th anniversary coming down the road and since I already had a video camera in hand I decided to film it coming through the intersection. After the car made the turn I left the camera on to record audio of the Murcielago accelerating when I was shocked to look back and see the car spinning out and crashing!!! This was like something out of a bad movie so I immediately ran to the car to make sure the driver wasn't injured. Hyundai Sonata YF 'Mysterious Acceleration' Causes Car Crash
Dashboard camera footage of an elderly couple's car accelerating uncontrollably before crashing into another vehicle has sparked an investigation by officials in South Korea. The car is seen abruptly accelerating from a standstill, forcing the driver to weave through heavy traffic before eventually slamming into the back of a stationary vehicle at 129kmh. The driver's wife is heard yelling, "Oh my God, what is going on?" during the 29 second video. The alleged 'sudden acceleration' crash on May 6, took place in the centre of one of South Korea's largest cities, Daegu, and injured 17 people. The couple's son says his father suffered fractured fingers and ribs, and his mother required surgery for internal bleeding. Hyundai Motors has since released a statement saying the vehicle, a 2009 Sonata YF sedan, is being inspected by the Korean National Forensic Service.
