A few weeks ago a colleague of me set up a little event for a good cause. You could get a ride in one of these cars if you paid some money, and all the money they earned that day went to a good cause :-) First you see some shots of the yellow Murcielago and than it accelerates with an Aston Martin V8 Vantage coming after it! he AMV8 Vantage is scheduled to arrive in the US in 2005. Introduced at the Detroit Auto Show as a concept in 2003, the AMV8 Vantage will round out the Aston Martin range to three models, including the DB9 and V12 Vanquish. Although still hand assembled and featuring the performance, styling, and interior refinement of all previous Astons, the AMV8 Vantage will be made in quantities that will allow more enthusiasts access to this world-class brand. Construction will be based at a new state-of-the-art facility in Gaydon, England. Clearly one of the most well penned designs to hit paper, the car formerly known as AM305 will feature an all aluminum 4.3L V8. Performance figures have not been published, but we expect this new engine to produce over 400bhp.
