Celebrity Hairdresser Stuart Phillips and top colourist Lara Clark creates a fantastic new haircut and colour on model Lisa. On June 27th 2011, Stuart Philips and Vibe International Models held a casting together at the Stuart Phillips salon in London to find the perfect model for Stuart's new hair video and also to be signed up to Vibe International Model Agency. In order to find the perfect model Stuart first had to look at each models bone structure, face shape and body type etc, this is very important when there's going to be a radical change, height and confidence was also an important factor, as she would be filmed showing off her new hairstyle walking outside in the streets. Stuart looked for a potential model with the possibility of improving her looks and sex appeal even more, this doesn't work for all models because sometimes cutting their long hair short can have an adverse effect. Lisa Chenneour was one of the favourites to receive the job out of the 15 models present, she seemed to fit this criteria perfectly. After watching how Lisa walked as if she was on a catwalk, the decision was made to chose her for the Stuart Phillips hair video and to be signed up to Vibe International Models. Lisa was about to undergo a massive re-style, from long to a short, choppy/funky haircut and a radical colour change, from black to a fiery red/copper. Celebrity Hairstylist Stuart Phillips creates a complete new look on model Perry, at the Stuart Phillips Salon in London's Covent Garden. Stuart removes lots of weight in Perry's hair and rearranges the shape to look more funky, trendy and most importantly wearable. A couple of inches was cut which had a massive effect on the shape. Stuart also cut an asymmetric fringe and then chopped into it, this gave him more movement and shape at the front. On the 20th November 2011 Stuart Phillips and his artistic team took to the stage at the Ideal Home Show at Christmas, showing their latest hair fashions. This was the first time the Ideal home show had a celebrity hair partner, that would perform makeovers on their new catwalk. This video shows Stuart plucking someone from the audience and cutting their hair! Stuart chose a lady called Alice, Alice had a long layered square bob. The shape didn't really suit her, it made her face too square and flat, the fringe was also very heavy. He would re-style her hair by cutting it dry and mainly chopping into and free hand cutting! Stuart starts by explaining to the audience that all he needs to do is tweak the hair, by just cutting off a couple of inches and from this he can transform her hair into a new trendy hairstyle.
