
www.mynrma.com.au - The compact SUV segment is literally bursting at the seams with new players, and the flood of new metal into the market doesn't look likely to abate anytime soon. But nothing in this compact SUV segment has quite the same impact as the Range Rover Evoque. It's the car of the moment, but it isn't all about skin-deep looks... here in the back seat there's a surprising amount of room; there's plenty of knee room thanks to the scalloped back of the front seats, and headroom is excellent too -- there's actually more room back here than in a Range Rover Sport You could quite easily seat three people across the back... Around here in the boot, and this car has the cost optional powered tail-gate (very good when you've got a handful of shopping, or it's raining), you get 400 litres of storage space or 1400-odd litres if you drop the 60/40 split-fold rear seats. That's not huge, if, like me you've got two children and need to fit in their seats, prams and bags, etc... the Evoque sets a whole new benchmark in this segment with great design, quality materials, first-rate fit and finish and the solidity you expect from a premium brand... Here in the front the Evoque is a nice comfy place to be and there are and there are plenty of useful cubbies stashed around the place ... but, unlike other Range Rovers, which you tend to sit up in, you sit down inside the Evoque... it feels like a, well, like a sports car up on its tippy toes... While most buyers will never ever <b>...</b>
