A rooftop tour of Jerusalem provides new perspective on an ancient city Jerusalem is often explored on foot, but another way to see the city is to climb to its rooftops and look down on some of its amazing sites. Today's tour with guide Madeleine Lavine starts at the YMCA, an architectural landmark built in 1878 and well known for its vision of coexistence. Inside, there is a Jewish-Arab preschool, and a hotel and sports center with a mixed staff. From there, we look due East across to the Mount of Olives and see the white dome of the newly reconstructed Hurva Synagogue in the Old City; the Windmill in Yemin Moshe, the Old Jerusalem Train station and Independence Park downtown. The sighting took place only yesterday on the morning of the 28th of January. The men notice the large ball shaped UFO suspended in the night sky and begin to film. At a little after one minute into the clip the UFO descends almost to ground level directly over the Temple Mount. BEWARE OF THE COVER-UP (and other fake debunkers...), and please read this if you want to know precisely what happened : these are the 3 real videos caught on january 28th 2011 over the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem, around 01:00 AM. The first and second footages were caught respectively by Eligael Gedalyovich and a friend of him who you can see filming with his phone just few meters ahead of him on the first footage (just a note for people who wonder why we can hear the same thing on these two footages). The third footage in order of appearance was an obvious hoax, featuring american ladies on some trip (commenting "we've seen in Mississipi like that..."), released just after the two first footages for obscure reasons, one being obviously to discredit these sightings. And though these two first footages were only released since a couple of hours so shouldn't have been a big threat yet... The fourth one (which is the third in this video because it does not feature the hoax I was previously talking about) has been caught by a guy (not sure about his name yet) who was going out with friends on that night. Emerson, Lake & Palmer were progressive rock's first supergroup. Greeted by the rock press and the public as something akin to conquering heroes, they succeeded in broadening the audience for progressive rock from hundreds of thousands into tens of millions of listeners, creating a major radio phenomenon as well. Upon officially teaming in 1970, Emerson and Lake auditioned several drummers before they approached Carl Palmer, not yet 20 years old and already an overpowering talent, as well as a former member of the Crazy World of Arthur Brown and Atomic Rooster. Muslims gather in Jerusalem for Eid prayers
Thousands of Muslims attended morning prayers at the Al Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem's Old City as worshippers marked the first day of Eid al-Adha on Sunday, the festival of sacrifice which spans four days. Eid prayers were followed by family visits to graves to pay respects to loved ones as part of the holiday tradition. In the West Bank City of Ramallah, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas along with officials performed prayers at the presidential compound. A wreath was then laid on the late President Yasser Arafat's grave. Abbas is awaiting the United Nations' decision on granting Palestine recognition as a member state, a move that is being blocked by Israel and the United States. Abbas has criticized efforts to deny his country recognition by UN agencies saying it is a natural right of Palestinians to seek membership. Meanwhile, in the Gaza Strip, which is controlled by Hamas and currently under an Israeli blockade, prayers were attended by the Islamist group's leader Ismail Haniyeh. He spoke of the Israeli air strike on Saturday that killed a Palestinian militant and described it as a sacrifice for the greater good of freedom.
