This is the Tea Clipper Cutty Sark in its dry dock at Greenwich London, it is the oldest Tea Clipper still preserved. Cutty Sark's name derives from the famous poem, "Tam O' Shanter" by Robert Burns. A 'cutty sark'—is a very old fashioned scottish name for a short nightdress. On the Morning of 21st May 2007 while undergoing preservation the Cutty Sark caught fire and was badly damaged they manged to save the iron structure and as of now it is still in the process of being rebuilt of what is left luckily most of the timbers and contents had been removed before this tragic event occured, hopefully one day it will be open again to the public.

This is actually three tunes in one; the whole song is a "megamix" taken from Cornell's compilation album "I Shall Not Remove", the sleeve of which is in the video. Released on Blood & Fire in 2000. Part one is Cornell Campbell's tune "Dance In A Greenwich Farm" which was a special dub recorded for King Tubby's sound in 1975. Guitarist Earl 'Chinna' Smith sings the harmony vocals. The rather haphazard journey from Land's End to John O'Groats creates a series of moving picture postcards. Look out for shots containing the component colours - red and blue-green - such as when a little girl in a red coat and hat walks among peacocks in the grounds of a castle, and three girls with red curly hair pose by the sea at Torquay. The car is a Vauxhall D-type - considered a sporty model at the time. A long-distance journey by car was a relatively new concept, with none of the amenities en route now taken for granted. The visit to a petrol station shows smoking on the forecourt: no health and safety issues back then! The travelogue ends with a series of recognisable London landmarks. Greenwich is a district of South East London, England, Great Britain, United Kingdom, located in the London Borough of Greenwich. Greenwich is best known for its maritime history and for giving its name to the Greenwich Meridian (0° longitude) and Greenwich Mean Time. Time to Travel visits Greenwich. The trip from Westminster Pier to Greenwich via the Thames River takes about one hour. Boatman offer a tongue and cheek narrative about history and points of interest along the River. The tour passes under Tower Bridge and passes by the modern business district at Canary Wharf. In Greenwich we tour the Old Navel College, now home to Greenwich University. We also climb to the Royal Observatory where visitors can stand astride the Prime Meridian with one foot in the Western Hemisphere and the other in the Eastern Hemisphere. This area of London will play a mayor role in the 2010 Summer Olympics. Greenwich is a great day trip but can also be done in half a day if you are pressed for time.
