Golf 6 GTI Dynaudio RNS310 MFA+
This is a "short" demonstration of the main functions in my new MK6 GTI. You will see the usage and the controls of the MFA+ information system, the RNS 310 navigation system and almost at the end a short sound sample of the stock Dynaudio system. Sound and picture quality may not be the best, sorry for that, but due to the quality of my mobile phone, you can imagine that the whole sound is by miles better when you listen to it live =). cheers! ;)

UPDATE: Much better video here: www.youtube.com Hopefully this crappy video will at least give a hint of what kind of power to expect from these speakers, although this is by no means the maximum volume. These are actively powered monitors with active crossover. A 50 Watt amp for each driver in each speaker. Balanced interconnects hooked up to my PC with a Creative X-Fi Xtreme Music soundcard. The most bang for the buck, as far as DAC sound quality goes. Music playing: Sensation White 2003, track 2 on CD 1. Shot with my cellphone, so sorry about the poor overall quality of the vid.

Guy Sigsworth is a UK songwriter and producer who has worked with some of the biggest names in music. He started out writing with Seal for his debut album Crazy, and has since played live and MD'd with Bjork, partnered Imogen Heap in Frou Frou, co produced and written tracks with Madonna, and produced and co-written with Alanis Morissette, not to mention his work with Britney Spears and a host of other artists. Andy Gray is one of the UK's most successful producers and composers. He has scored Hollywood movies like Swordfish and produced syncs for The Bourne Identity and Natural Born Killers. He has worked with many artists including Tori Amos, Paul Oakenfold and Gary Numan and more recently produced albums by Hard-Fi and Enter Shikari. His TV credits are many and varied including the theme tune of the 11-year running, UK edition of Big Brother. Here he details his long history of working with Dynaudio monitors and how they have helped him perfectly mix his many high profile productions.

Dynaudio Launch New Focus Speakers at High End Hi Fi Show 2011 Munich
Dynaudio unveil their latest range of loudspeakers at the High End Show Munich 2011. Seen here are the new Dynaudio Focus 160, 260, 340, 380 and Focus centre speaker the Focus 210 C. The new range features a new Kapton voice coil formers smaller more ornate aluminium baskets (in grey) which help improve the depth and clarity of low frequencys. Focus also now recieves the better Esotar2 tweeter and a newly improved crossover. Both use far higher grade of components than the previous range. The look has also changed, giving the new Focus speakers a modern look and overall a more polished performance. The improvments have made the speakers far easier to place in smaller rooms. The new Focus range is avalable in Satin Black, Rosewood, High Gloss White, High Gloss Black and a new Wallnut finish seen in this clip.

Dynaudio BM5A speaker problem (vid #1)
Shows the problems I'm having with this speaker that I've sent for repair no less than 4 times, once while under warranty and 3 times since then. All the repair shops have happily taken my cash and returned the speaker for the same problem to comeback again - sometimes immediately (like they didn't repair it all) and most recently after a break of about 5-6 months. I basically got 6 months uninterrupted use out of this speaker before it has become unusable. The pair of speakers cost $1000, so I'm pretty miffed that $500 of that appears to have been wasted. Love the speakers (when they work), but cannot bring myself to spend any more on repair, or give Dynaudio any cash for any more speakers.
