Warning: A bit disturbing, nothing graphic, but scene does include cartoon death. My favorite scene in Batman TAS. The Death of Batgirl. This scene comes from an episode called "Over the Edge". This episode was really good, it had everything I ever want. Revenge, betrayal, exposing the Bat family and the most important point for me, NIGHTWING!! Everyone go out and watch it if you like this scene.

Barbara was told to stay out of trouble everytime there was a major crime, but she always wanted to help out in crimefighting as Batgirl, and was quite confident to face the bad guys all by herself. Unfortunately, Gotham's arch criminals were more experienced and always ahead in setting up a trap for the oblivious and overconfident Batgirl. With her limited fighting skills, Batgirl was easily outnumbered, manhandled and captured by the many big-sized henchmen, got setup in bondage and eventually lay helpless in her death-trap.

A crime-ridden night befalls Gotham, and Barbara transforms herself into BATGIRL, SCOURGE OF THE UNDERWORLD, and DEFENDER OF TRUTH & JUSTICE. The courageous crimefighter tracked down the RIDDLER to his hiding place, trying to stop his crime-spree once and for all. Much to Batgirl's surprise, the prince of puzzles has joined forces with three of Gotham's dangerous arch criminals, namely the JOKER, PENGUIN, and CATWOMAN (Holy 1966 Movie, Batman!). Batgirl single-handedly took down their army of henchmen, while the four arch criminals made their escape to regroup their forces. As soon as she finished disposing the henchmen, Batgirl gave chase to the escaped criminals, unaware that they have one last trick up their sleeves. In one fell swoop, the arch criminals successfully outnumbered and rendered the DOMINOED DAREDOLL helpless, placing her in an inescapable and deadly buzzsaw death trap. Is the DARK KNIGHT DAMSEL to be a DAMSEL IN DISTRESS? Has Batgirl finally met her match? Or will she live another day to round up the four arch criminals who are still loose in Gotham? In this short fanedit video, Batman is now able to call Batgirl for assistance through her communicator (equipped with the original Batphone beeping tone).
