This is an old video I found of mine and Layton's first house :o) We lived on Amelia Island, Florida and this is the house we lived in until we moved to Texas. Excuse the mess and what not. We were in the middle of packing, so the rooms are unorganized or bare! And Texx was our old boxer! Sweet crazy boy! We had to give him to friends when we moved though. We are renting our current house and the landlord doesn't allow pets :o(

On a small barrier island in northeast Florida, north of Jacksonville, people held hands at the beach to form line in the sand, part of the "Hands Across the Sand" demonstration held worldwide June 26, 2010. The organized event is reportedly "the largest gathering against offshore oil drilling in history." Hands Across the Sand was sponsored on Amelia Island, Florida by the Nassau County, FLORIDA Sierra Club. About 150 people met at Main Beach Park in Fernandina Beach to give support. Then at 12 noon they held hands and formed a line across the beach, a metaphorical and actual "line in the sand." Described by the organizer's as "a peaceful gathering of the people of America and the world." The image is powerful, the message is simple. NO to Offshore Oil Drilling, YES to Clean Energy.
