In this part I describe how to modify the battery box to a stock Super Cub for a 3 cell LiPo battery. This is the plane I originally learned to fly on early this spring and have since built two more Cubs with upgraded electronics & ailerons. My wife has also been learning to fly on her mod Super Cub with the DX6i buddy box system and now she's ready to learn the final stages of flying... Take-offs and Landings! This tutorial is about adding a 3 cell LiPo battery to the stock Cub which I'll teaching her to land with (she's gotten too attached to her yellow piper Super Cub). The 4 minute version of this one in that CD misses all the awesome parts (starting at 4:10), so it was a big shame. Of course, in the game, all these different cues are selected and blended procedurally according to the tension during the game, but the whole set is just too damn awesome on itself, and it deserves a special mention and appreciation. The guy who made these rips (Pablo) did his best to append the cues in a natural order, and he did a great job. Since YouTube now allows videos up to 15 minutes, I decided it was time to upload a video that does this track justice. I Upgraded my Slash to the Traxxas Velineon brushless system. I have a Venom 3 cell 4000mah pack and gave it a try today. Wheelies are hillarious, and the speed and torque lift the front nose up so easy, need to put some lead up there and try and get more speed runs in. We clock it around 45mph, but that mild compared to what some guys are getting. I only had the 3 cell in there, the Velineon and changed the pinion gear to 26tooth.. With more gearing changes, better bigger tires and some tweaking we can get a lot faster I'm sure. We'll get some onboard cam footage from this too, had it on today, but it was pointing up too much. All I ended up getting was mostly sky. Stay tuned to see more Slash races, heats, more speed tests, and a lot more wheelies hahaha Guys , it doesn't need a wheelie bar, too much power to put it full throttle and expect it to stay on the rear two. Sure if you do good throttle management, but we're just going for some speed here.

By using a larger brass tube placed directly behind the prop, we found better flow and water cooling. The MQ-9 is (at this moment) is the most advanced of the USA;s UAV's (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles). This R/C Model MQ-9 also flies very sweet and is very smooth. It has lots of lift and can glide a long time with the flaps down. It is a fun airplane and really draws the spectators. As I said before, I think this is going to be a real winner for NitroPlanes, as it is a good camera platform plane for taking pictures of cities, towns, farms, crops, or you name it! *Please note. I like this Reaper, although it has a weak aluminum wing spar that caused me to fold the wings ending with a bad crash a couple of years ago. It was time consuming to setup the control cables and wing flaps as the wings are very thin.. It also requires using rudder and aileron to turn, as the ailerons are weak on Pushers like this. But once you figure that all out, it is pleasing to fly. It flies very sweetly and is very smooth. It has lots of lift and can glide a long time with the flaps down. It is a fun airplane and really draws the spectators. SPEED WAS MEASURED WITH A RADAR GUN!!! NOT AN IPHONE DOPPLER APP!! I know you people don't believe it because the math does not work but we have since tested this plane with 3 different brands and models of RADAR gun and all clocked the same speed.. Your doppler app is NOT accurate from this video. There are variables that will not allow it to work properly. This is one hell of a plane. Multiplex makes some of the best foam airplanes on the market and this one is no exception. Those crazy Germans really know how to make a plane. This sucka is fast, nimble and rock solid!
