Top 10 cartoon theme songs from the 80's
I was talking to a freind of mine and telling him how much cooler the cartoons were when I was a kid compared to the cartoons from the 90's and today. So that and retrojunk.com inspired me to make this video. The criteria for my top 10 is not the quality of the shows but the quality of the opening intro and Theme song. If it was a top cartoons of the 80's I would have included Robotech, Silverhawks, GI joe you know stuff like that.

at 4:20 Galaxy Ranger chick is hot; Dinosaucers is one of my favorite cartoon songs from the 80s. I like your list but I have to say Jem should've been number one; Jem's intro song and animation was and still is superior to past and present cartoons.

O and one more thing : ThunderCats they where in that period to...mutant ninja turtles and more others...i belive they where really awesome to! Double Dragons and so on! A lots of super awesome cartoons, not this shit on tv today...

Well, I should say, the *animation* may have been better. But I recently tried watching an old episode of GI Joe, and besides the nostalgic feeling I got, it was just as excruciatingly boring as Ben 10 or My Little Ponies.

WOW. I never saw ...
WOW. I never saw any of those cartoons as a kid O____O But those intros were pretty cool to look at. Dug how there was a big fusion of American super hero style and Japanese anime style back then. There were so many colorful characters and so many outrageously cool looking vehicles back then. thanx for this trip down memory lane.
