I thought Ian Thorpe and Peiter Van de Hoogie going 1 and 2 at the 200 in Athens in 2004 with M Phelps unable to go with them was one of the best moments in sports history myself. Roger Bannister breaking the 4 minute mile wasn't too bad, Paavo Nurmi was o k too - I'd be inclined to put both those achievements well ahead of this. Um if you want a lot more that would rate higher - even in swimming - ask me!

I'll never forget when I was a junior (11th grade) in highschool, sitting on my couch watching this with my fam thinking 'crap we're gonna loose to France' and the good Lord said differently. You said if we were in a war with allies the allies saved our butts, we saved America's buts in that war several times. Without Lafayette you more than likely would have lost.
